Overview

PocketBrain is designed as an offline-first AI workspace. It does not require an account for the core experience.

Chats, workspace content, and local files are designed to be stored on your device. PocketBrain has no cloud chat backend.

Network is primarily used for model downloads and links you choose to open.

Models are downloaded to enable local AI capabilities. Available features depend on the installed model, device hardware, and native runtime.

Permissions are feature-scoped: they are needed only for the features you choose, such as working with files, camera, or microphone.

No analytics SDK and no ads SDK are bundled at launch.

Local storage is part of the product design. User-opened third-party links are governed by the third party’s practices.
